But the two notebooks which I created with the OneNote app on my Mac are in the Documents folder. And, I noticed that those Mac-created notebooks have the extension '.url'. The OneNote notebook created on my PC has an extension of '.one'. Two different file types. I think that might be the answer to my issue. The two OneNote programs -- the one that runs on a PC and the app that runs on the Mac --use entirely different formats. This led me to look for a file converter.
